properly bonded, correctly insulated cable and a cheaper alternative is almost always smaller than the cost of
pulling a failed cable back out of a borewell to replace it. A submersible flat cable failure rarely announces
itself in advance — there's no fraying to spot, no early warning sign, because the whole assembly is sitting
underground and underwater. The first sign is usually the pump tripping out or simply not starting, and by
then the only way to diagnose it is to pull the entire assembly out, which for a deep agricultural borewell can
